GLITTER DUST OF MY MIND. SOLILOQUY.
GOD is so good and so loving. The best gift God has ever given me is a forgiving heart. I am thankful how much humility He endowed my heart to be able to forgive people who have hurt me in the past or people who are offensive, or any circumstance. If it is me, just as I am, it will be such a difficult thing to do because human as I am, we hold on to emotions and experiences, normal to be angry, hurt, remorseful. But it is He who lives in me that makes me endure. I am constantly reminded, "Forgive others as I have loved you. It is not possible for you to Love me yet Hate others."
Forgiveness liberates you. Forgiveness kills the thief of our joy and frees us. It takes out the thorns suppresed inside. It frees you from pain and anger. Forgivess gives you peace of mind. I have always forgiven people no matter how grave whatever they have done towards me. I have forgiven life and all the challenges thrown at me. I forgive people I love for whatever they have done against me; whether I know it or not. I will always choose to forgive. This also is the best time for me to ask forgiveness too to anyone I might have hurt, offended, unintentionally ignored and taken for granted. I am sorry for whatever it could be. Forgive with joy in your heart. Not easy, but here is the trick: Now put yourself in a situation. Be a parent. Emphatize as your own mother or as your father and yourself as your son or daughter. When you were a kid and you did silly things, would you forgive "you"? With everything you have done since you were young, to your siblings, to your schoolmates, will you forgive "you"? When you started to have friends and did all the worst things you wanted to try and shout back at mom and dad for minding your business, will you forgive "you"? When you almost killed yourself with all the stupid things you have done, breaking your parents hurt and making them cry, would you forgive "You"? You as your parent, of course, you will always forgive "You". Parents also are sons and daughters, they had been forgiven too. That is why no matter what, because they love you, they will forgive you. Perfect example of God's forgiveness. Because He loves you. Most importantly, forgiveness of self and true acceptance is the best gift you give yourself. God loves you for everything that you are and everything He molded you to be. Do not limit his Grace, by not forgiving yourself Beautiful days. The very moment my eyes meet the first light of day, your very image flashes in my mind... then I realize I smile to myself. The most beautiful thing in this world to realize is that you woke up to another day. Not everyone get the same chance. Not everyone has the same luxury to be alive to see another day come. Life itself is a gift. The very fact that you have the breath of life, that is one gift we are given everyday. In December, my close friend in church informed us the news that her mom passed away. Few months, we prayed for her Mom to recover and be well. Then her time came. She had to go. My friend told us about her mom passing away. The very thing I noticed from her is her complete acceptance that she left. When I look at her, I see she accepted with no trace of hate blame or remorse in her face why she had to go. Acceptance and Love. There are certain times I ask Why Lord? Why do things happen to specific people and how is it set that this happens to who? God's wisdom is simply too deep, that my own will not comprehend. But thru understanding, it becomes revealed to you. Things happen to us for reasons, beyond our own wisdom, beyond our own reasoning and this is when Trust comes. Trusting God why He let us go thru experiences and struggles we face day by day. Best part though, He knows your limits and He knows your capacity. It still boils down to acceptance and complete surrrender. God knows every single strand of your hair. God knows the very minute detail of your fingerprints. God knows the your past, your present, your future. God knows your desires even before you even told him. It is good to trust the creator who made you with his breath. Why resist when you know without him, we are nothing but mere dust. He makes us who & how we are. Beautiful.
