GLITTER DUST OF MY MIND. SOLILOQUY.
The day greeted me with it's usual misty morning, damp outside and serene.
I raced with my alarm& won for I was up earlier than expected. I got up 3am again yet had to get back to sleep knowing it is my body & mind still unsynched with the 4hour diff. It will be another great morning, It always had been, as I perceive it to be everytime I leave the sheets. Now, i stared at the wall quite a little while, blank mind, just staring. Yesterday was first day of work back in this country and definitely I had to go thru some coping. I am now back to this world where everyone are in a rush, fast-paced walking, robotic like figures clad in business suits, on headphones, iphones & ipads, no talking & all you hear would be loud steps in the hallways at the mrt station. I looked out of the box. People are driven by the pressures of life; every second that ticks they can't afford to waste. I realized after my last travel to another country taught me a new perspective and view of things. I want to take life as it comes to me. Taking it one day at a time. Not like it's given as a cheesecake and you eat whole Chunks without swallowing during lunchbreaks, almost choking, because you need to go back to work. You do not even get the time to eat dessert remember? Crazy. Now I would like to really sit down, take a good look at my food, enjoy the cheesecake and savor every single bite as if it's my last piece. Life has to absorbed. Life and it's ticking moment has to treasured, the way pearls are cultured & held precious. I do not want to let anything wonderful in my life to pass me by. After the life changing experiences I encountered in a country where I saw all things beautiful & wonderful, I realized God wants me to experience the beauty of what my eyes gaze upon. Life is beautiful as beautiful as an island of coconut trees, blue waters and sand. It is as beautiful as the pine trees I have seen on top of the mountain. It is as amazing as the multi-colored rainbow we saw on my way to savusavu. It is as magnificent as the horses freely gazing as I pass by everytime we drive from one village to another. It is as lovely as the smiles I get around SUVA town, where stangers wave to you as a friend. Too many beautiful Things. Too many beautiful people. I kept in my memory bottle. So now I rise to face another morning but now with a different glow: Sega na Leqa! The Lord made the day as beautiful by itself, live to appreciate its beauty. Good morning everyone! |
